In addition to providing you with legal information, another objective of the legal planning session is to determine whether or not you and our firm are a good fit for each other.  There are many reasons why we might decide not to represent you, but if we make such a decision, it should never be taken personally.

If we decide you are a good fit for us and you feel likewise, we will discuss your payment options, decide on a payment plan, and execute an Attorney-Client Agreement. If you are interested in a payment plan, please click the following link to learn more about the payment plans and see if you prequalify. If you prequalify for a payment plan, you will need to bring a government issued photo identification, your last two check stubs(or other proof of income), and a copy of your most bank statement for your checking account with you to your legal planning session.

 Please note that your legal planning session is confidential, even if you do not retain us.

When dealing with a legal matter, it is important that you become informed about your legal rights and responsibilities so that you can plan properly.  We offer a low cost Legal Planning Session, during which we will review your situation, provide you with helpful legal information, and a legal game plan to save you time, money, and stress. The Legal Planning Session is offered for a reduced fee of $100. If you decide to retain our attorney during your Legal Planning Session, the cost of your Legal Planning Session will be credited to your overall attorney fees, making the planning session free in effect.

We want the time you spend with us to be meaningful and valuable, so when you schedule your legal  planning session, our attorney will send you an email informing you how to prepare for your planning session.  The email will also contain an intake form that you will need to complete prior to your planning session.  Our legal planning sessions can be completed in our office, via phone, or via video conference.  You may choose the method that is most convenient for you. You can expect your legal planning session to last from 45 minutes to one hour.

During your legal planning session, our attorney will:

  • Review your intake form and other relevant documents to gain a thorough understanding of your particular situation;

  • Talk with you to learn more about your situation, your concerns, and your goals;

  • Share with you our thoughts regarding the strengths and weaknesses of your position;

  • Provide you with legal information relating to your legal matter;

  • Collaborate with you to set realistic goals and develop a legal strategy tailored to your unique situation and goals;

  • Provide you with an estimated cost of your legal services; and

  • Discuss your payment options.

Prior to your legal planning session, you will need to complete our Planning Agreement and an Intake Form.

*  Sending us a message and/or participating in an introductory phone call or legal planning session does not create an attorney-client relationship nor does it prevent us from representing an opposing party in your legal matter should you choose not to retain us in your legal matter.  An attorney-client relationship is only created after the  signing of a retainer agreement with the Walls Law Firm.  The information on our website is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice.  Prices are subject to change without notification. By scheduling a legal planning session, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
