• The Decedent died leaving unsecured debts that are due and owing by the estate, the Decedent was over age 55 and was a TennCare recipient, or the Decedent died leaving assets in a financial institution that is requesting Letters Testamentary or Letters of Administration.

• The Decedent's will provides for an "independent administration."

• At least one of the persons named in the Will is willing and able to serve as independent executor.
